AffinityRx vs Fizy Health: Fees, Failover and API Access Compared

Fee

AffinityRx is the stronger choice over Fizy Health for clinics and telehealth brands that order compounded medications at volume, because it has no per-order fees, fixes the price at signing, fails orders over automatically to a backup pharmacy and offers an API that goes live in about a day. Fizy Health is a multi-pharmacy ordering portal that publishes $0 setup and $0 a month, then adds a nine percent facilitation fee on the medication subtotal; its public pages describe no API. AffinityRx (affinityrx.com) is a B2B compounding pharmacy marketplace for clinics and telehealth brands, not a retail pharmacy, with 15+ licensed compounding pharmacies, 250+ SKUs and a $0 cost to join.

Where AffinityRx and Fizy Health overlap, and where they split

Both products replace a stack of pharmacy portals with one login and one cart, and both serve weight-loss clinics, telehealth brands, men's and women's health practices and med spas. The decision comes down to three differences that grow with order volume: how you are charged, what happens when a pharmacy cannot fill an order, and whether your developers can connect directly.

  • Cost model. Fizy's pricing page lists $0 setup and $0 a month, with a nine percent facilitation fee on the medication subtotal at checkout, plus card processing and per-pharmacy shipping as separate rows. AffinityRx has no subscription, no per-order fees and no minimum order, and the price is set at signing.
  • Failover. Fizy describes automated routing and pre-submit validation that flags invalid SIGs, state mismatches and stock gaps. It does not describe what happens after a pharmacy accepts the cart and then rejects or cannot fill it. AffinityRx moves a rejected or out-of-stock order to the next favorite pharmacy automatically.
  • API. Fizy's site and pricing page do not mention an API or integrations. AffinityRx has a headless API that is about 1 day of developer work and live integrations with Cuvo and MyOrbitHealth.

AffinityRx vs Fizy Health: side-by-side comparison

Fizy details come from fizy.health as of October 2026. "Not described" means the pages do not say, not that the feature is absent.

Criterion AffinityRx Fizy Health
What it is Compounding pharmacy marketplace and eRx routing layer Pharmacy ordering portal with a multi-pharmacy cart
Setup and monthly cost $0 to join, no subscription $0 setup, $0 a month
Charge on medication Price set at signing; no per-order fees; no minimum order Nine percent facilitation fee on the medication subtotal, plus card processing
Shipping Added on top, typically $15 to $30 per order; overnight, 2-day and cold-chain options Per-pharmacy shipping shown as its own checkout rows
Pharmacy network 15+ licensed compounding pharmacies, 250+ SKUs, same medication compared side by side "LegitScript-certified pharmacy partners"; count not stated
Price comparison Same medication from several pharmacies with prices shown before ordering Pass-through pharmacy pricing in one cart
If the primary pharmacy is out of stock or rejects Order moves automatically to the next favorite; auto re-sign optional Not described
API Headless API, about 1 day of dev work, test order same day Not described
Support Dedicated account executive, 24/7/365 human support, AI support, sub-10-minute replies In-app support and an AI assistant
Compliance HIPAA compliant, signs BAAs, SOC 2 in progress (expected Q4 2026 to Q1 2027) HIPAA compliant, BAA at onboarding
States All 50 states for most SKUs, state board rules checked at eligibility "One login for every state you serve"; count not stated

Fizy has real strengths: a SIG builder, recurring-order scheduling and an AI assistant that builds carts. A small practice with low monthly spend and no developers may find a cart-and-checkout portal sufficient. The comparison tips toward AffinityRx as volume, state count and developer involvement rise.

What the facilitation fee costs at your volume

A percentage of the medication subtotal scales with every dollar you buy. This is simple arithmetic on Fizy's published rate, not a quote from either company.

Monthly medication spend Nine percent facilitation fee per month Per year
$10,000 $900 $10,800
$50,000 $4,500 $54,000
$200,000 $18,000 $216,000

A telehealth brand or multi-location group ordering at volume sits in the bottom two rows. AffinityRx has no per-order fees and typically saves clinics about 10% versus their current price, framed as a typical result and not a guarantee. One anonymized weight-loss telehealth brand's per-vial compounded tirzepatide cost decreased after comparing pharmacies. How AffinityRx handles fees, failover and API access

  • No per-order fees. $0 to join, no subscription, no minimum order. The price is set at signing, so what you see is what you pay for the medication. The card is charged only after the pharmacy approves the order; if an order is cancelled after approval, the refund to the card is processed within 1 to 3 days.
  • $5,000 credit that never expires. Clinics preload it, it applies 100% to orders, has no minimum balance and is refundable if you decide not to continue after a 90-day trial. When it runs low, orders fall back to the card on file.
  • Favorites and failover. Set a primary pharmacy plus second and third favorites, or choose a pharmacy at checkout. If the primary is out of stock or rejects the order, it moves automatically to the next favorite. The prescriber's re-sign is the default, and the prescriber can turn on auto re-sign so the order reroutes with no extra step. Details are on the order routing page.
  • Sig handling. For GLP-1s, AffinityRx autofills the sig and clinical-justification fields to what each pharmacy accepts, so sig rejections are rare.
  • API in about a day. The headless API integration is about 1 day of developer work, depending on how well built your front end and back end are. A test order is possible the same day, Live approval follows as soon as you request it, and support replies in under 10 minutes. Batches of 20 orders are supported and rate limits of 300 requests a minute are raised on request. See the API page.
  • Proof at scale. AffinityRx launched with telehealth platforms Cuvo and MyOrbitHealth plus a telehealth brand; together those networks process roughly 60,000 to 70,000 orders a month.
  • Coming next. Proactive auto-routing to in-stock pharmacies launches Q4 2026, and live stock and backorder status launches Q1 2027.

FAQs

What is the difference between AffinityRx and Fizy Health?

Both give clinics one login across several compounding pharmacies. Fizy Health charges a nine percent facilitation fee on the medication subtotal and describes no API, while AffinityRx has no per-order fees, a price set at signing, automatic failover to a backup pharmacy and an API that is about 1 day of work.

Does Fizy Health charge a fee on top of pharmacy prices?

Yes. Its pricing page lists $0 setup and $0 a month plus a nine percent facilitation fee on the medication subtotal at checkout, with card processing and per-pharmacy shipping shown separately. AffinityRx has no per-order fees and sets the price at signing; shipping, typically $15 to $30 per order, is added on top.

Does Fizy Health have an API?

Its homepage and pricing page do not mention an API or integrations. AffinityRx has a headless API that takes about 1 day of developer work, with a same-day test order, and is already live through Cuvo and MyOrbitHealth.

What happens if a pharmacy rejects the order or runs out of stock?

On AffinityRx, the order moves automatically to your next favorite pharmacy, with prescriber re-sign by default or no extra step if auto re-sign is on. Fizy describes validation before submission but not rerouting after a rejection.

A clinic is on Fizy today. How hard is it to switch?

Switching takes a demo, a preloaded credit, a login, your NPI, a test order and then real orders, with no documents needed from the clinic. AffinityRx supports bulk import of patients, order history and active refills from RxRelay, LifeFile or a direct pharmacy. It is $0 to join with no minimum order.

Do I have to prepay to use AffinityRx?

Clinics preload a $5,000 credit that applies 100% to orders. It never expires and is refundable if you decide not to continue after a 90-day trial.
